Hi there πŸ‘‹, I’m Nikhil.

I have an MS in CS from Georgia Tech with a specialization in Artificial Intelligence. I’m currently working as a Lead AI/ML Engineer. I used to work in the lighting industry and have lots of experience in lighting components and controls at all levels of the stack.

My time at Georgia Tech has gotten me deeply intrigued into mathematics, machine learning and all things Bayesian. In my free time, I try to update my inductive priors on these topics as much as possible. πŸ™ƒ I further want to look more into embedded devices and see how edge level AI inference would work!

Backpropagating? What are you talking about?

In machine learning, backpropagation is a technique to update the weights of a neural network. In the same way, this site aims to be an archive of posts and notes that help you update the weights of your brains’ neurons!

Open Source Contributions and Projects

While I update my weights on deep learning architectures, I’m trying not to be a code monkey and am skilling up my coding skills through open source contributions and projects.

Some of my recent projects can be seen here and my recent PRs can be seen here
